About me

IMG_1982
I have a delightfully crazy cat named Luna.

I grew up in Varese, Italy, and I currently live in Albany, New York, with my wife and our three pets.

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I am especially committed to supporting women, queer, trans, and non-binary people through my philosophical work and my activism.

As a ‘sense-maker’, I value the ability to speak to audiences with different skills, interests, and backgrounds. Our history, social environment, and embodied lived experience shape how we connect with each other, and this fact inspires me to make philosophy and science accessible to all. Over the years, I have given public lectures and organized cultural events on various topics in my hometown.

In my free time, I like to read and learn about User Experience Design and Human-Computer Interaction. I love playing sports (especially basketball), and I am a volunteer youth basketball coach. I (badly) play the guitar and I sing, mostly in my car. Sometimes I write poetry, sometimes I listen to classical music. I enjoy art in each and every form.
